Earners of this badge have demonstrated an understanding of foundational knowledge, responsibilities, and tasks performed by an entry-level Clinical Research Coordinator. Participants have been assessed on competencies related to six domains outlined by the Joint Task Force for Clinical Trial Competency. This badge is issued by Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences and the New Jersey Alliance for Clinical and Translational Science (NJACTS).
Participants interested in registering for this badging course should contact Yasheca Ebanks at yebanks@shp.rutgers.edu. The course is taught in an asynchronous manner beginning on the first day of every other month, and stays open for 6 weeks. The badge fee is minimal for any Rutgers, Princeton, or New Jersey Institute of Technology student, faculty, or staff as well as individuals employed by the RWJ Barnabas Health System: Undergraduate/Graduate student ($25), Post Doc and Fellows ($35), Faculty Members/Staff/Residents/Researchers ($100), Other CTSA Hubs and Academic Institutions ($200).
Knowledge and skills are assessed via a quiz at the end of each module. Participants must score a minimum of 90% on each quiz prior to moving on to the next module.
